Stipple or hearts?

I completed this quilt some time ago but am ready to quilt it on my long arm! I am making this for a dear friend who helps me with my mom. I was going to just strew hearts in various directions and then I thought about stippling and researched how to do that process. I have been looking at all the beautiful quilts on the board and now I am back to be indecisive. So, how should I quilt this? It has denim squares and bandana handkerchiefs .

Quilt it however you feel comfortable, I think hearts or stippling/meandering would be nice

Stippled hearts! where each stipple "loop" goes wide and has a pointy indent in the middle like a heart.

I am terrible at "quilting" with my computer mouse, but this is roughly what I mean. It's easy to do. I can even do it on my ancient longarm with no stitch regulator! It looks much prettier in thread, and creates a very sentimental overall pattern that looks like stippling from a distance but communicates love closeup.

I agree. Chose what you are comfortable doing. There are a lot of heart stencils that could fit in the squares.

I would go with a regular smooth stipple.
