Can someone be so kind to explain me the diference between these two?
There are the "build in stitches" and there are the "Features".. on the machine....I can understand the build in but I am not sure about the features...Are they related to the stitches?

Generally - features refer to things like the following:

"perfect buttonholes" (vikings big sell point), "IDT" (which is Pfaffs feed system), front loading bobbin, Wind bobbin while stitching, Size of the throat, adjustable needle location, etc . .

Hope this helps.

I would think "features" are just things to be listed about the machine -
as eparys said -

also "features" would/could include such things as "needle down position" , the control - knee or foot,

sort of like when one buys a car - two door vs. four door, automatic vs. manual, etc etc etc

built-in stitches is one of the features of the machine.
