Do you use Mode 2 - stitch 11-16? What's the difference between this
and Mode 1 - stitch 1? The manual calls Mode 2 stitch 13 and 16 "Patchwork Piecing". Am I the only one who has never used this for piecing? |
I'm going to have to go and look to see what you are talking about. I just do the straight stitch on mode one.

In my manual it's on page 35.

well, crud. I can't find the manual at this moment, but looking at the stitch guide on the machine, I think it has to do with position. Moving the needle left or right.

I use Mode 2, stitch 13 and I set the needle for 3.7 if that helps any. I also use my 1/4" foot with it.
I think a lot of the differences in the straight stiches are their length. I may be wrong, as I don't have my manual in front of me. |
Maybe that moves the needle for scant 1/4 inch? I guess we'll just have to try. :)
