Will be finishing up a can of that in the morning, guess I will be able to put the can to good use. Thanks for the idea.

If you have a Ross nearby, they have inexpensive containers there usually. I've bought some that are tall/narrow made out of clear plastic so you can see what's in there. Look good, too.

I use various size ziploc bags for lots of things.
If it is several things that need to stay together (like piecies sorted by fabric for a quilt) I put all the bags in order of use on a bookring with the final bag having the thread, needles, small scissors & seam ripper. Very handy to grab the whole thing to put in your tote with the WIP.

What a ingenious idea. I can now take my bins out of storage and use them daily.
Thank you for the great idea.

When I'm done with a project, much of my left-over small pieces of fabric will be cut into either 2", 2.5", or 3" squares.
Since I drink General Food International coffees, it dawned on me to reuse the boxy tin containers for my 2" squares.

When finished with the coffee, I vacuumed the last few grains out of the can and wiped out with a dry cloth (Washing the can will cause it to rust!)

For a different look, I've covered two cans with wrapping paper, and they are great to store my 2" squares of scraps.

When 2 cans are full, that is when I make a small table topper or donate squares.

Sooooo cute, great idea!!
