Here I am looking at all this batting---how do you store yours? I am in a complete mess, and trying to think of a clever solution to this. Any ideas will be helpful..
i store my roll of batting standing on end in my closet for the time being. now that i got my frame set up, i may move it to under the frame, as i had it in my last house.
Some people have put a rod o the wall and put the roll batting up. I don't have any wall space, so mine sits on the floor.
I BUY BATTING BY THE ROLL AND KEEP IT IN THE SHIPPING BOX MY SMALLER SIZES, LEFT OVER EDGES FROM QUILTS, I HAVE FOLDED AND STORED IN A LARGE PLASTIC BOX, I GO THERE FOR ALL MY SMALLER PROJECTS FIRST( TABEL RUNNERS,PLACEMATS, MUG RUGS, HOT PADS, WALL HANGINGS, ECT.) IF THE BOX GETS TO FULL I START MAKING SQUARES FOR RAG RUGS, THEY ARE USED UP REAL FAST.

I store mine at the store. I buy it as I need it.

I don't buy the batting by the roll anymore. It just takes up too much space to store. I buy batting by the case from Hancocks of Paducah. Then I can store the individual packages of batting where ever they fit.
I only buy 3 or 4 yds at a time and wrap it on a cardboard from JoAnns and store on the shelf. Pieces I put in a container with other small pieces of fusibles and such.
My roll of batting is behind door in spare bedroom, and single battings are under the bed in same room.
