I went to dollar store and bought some Noodles the round foam ones the kids use in the swimming pool and I roll the quilt
on the noodle .if it is still in sections just lay it out on a piece
of muslin and then roll it up. I dont like folds in my squares and I
don't have any with this method. works real well.

:)

These noodles can also be used to mail quilts when you don't want them to get fold marks. Can't mail a cat.

Great idea. I hate it when I feel like I need to press a quilt that is in progress of being put together. How cool would it be to be able to make a rack that you can put on the wall and run a dowel rod through the noodle and then hang the whole thing up. Kinda like a rifle in a gunrack.

I have heard of longarmers doing something like this with quilt tops that are waiting for quilting.

ROFL. SO funny. I have cats but they have a mat in here and know that's is the only place they can lay. Thanks for the giggles.

I use the colored fabric project boxes from Joann's and keep it together there. I iron with best press as I go...Then when it is bigger I can keep it on the design board and finish it. Still iron it with Best Press when it is finished. Good idea on the noodles though. Walmart will mark theirs down soon too. Need to get some for the fniished quilt tops. They would lay nicely on a shelf. Thanks for the idea.
