I love the look of blocks set on point but hate the work putting them together. I am doing one right now and it is taking all my concentration keeping them all going in the right direction.

Any tips on setting on point? any tricks that make it easier?

I use a design wall, then pin the pieces together as I take them off, or before I take the rows off of it. It makes it easier for me to keep them in the correct order this way :D:D:D

i use a design wall, also. My "design wall" is just my cotton batting hanging off the sides of my shelves. My pieces generally just stick there - for extra assurance, i just stab w/ a straight pin

I do the same. If you don't have a design wall, use the floor or a bed to lay them out. My design wall is a large piece of flannel and attached to a wall in my sewing room.
