In order to be thrifty I used to use fabric dryer sheets(strong ones) between the layers or inside of a potholder. If you use it double, etc. it works. If not wide enough seam it. That was the "batting"so to speak. Am I just over the wall or would that be workable for any of you?
It seemed to work for me and it is washable. I was using them at home,but you could give the item away.... :oops: :oops: :oops:
