I want to try these. My LQS does not carry them so the internet is my next stop. I looked at a few sites--what size do you prefer?? Any brand you like better than another?

I like LONG needles and am looking for a longer needle that bends easily to finish my appliqued blocks.

look for milliner's needles.
They are the same as straw needles..

just took a class from Nancy Chong on hawaiian applique and thats all she recommends...John James has them. I like them

I love straw needles for applique. That is all I use. I think some one said john james. that is what i use. Give them a try!!

My sister sent me to this site. Their needle threaders are the finest wire possible. I love them and their needles.
