I love that quilt Ruth, co-ordinating that center strip makes it look like it's in a lattice frame, choice :thumbup:

I did mine on a muslin square and started in center, diagonally, and just
added strips until covered. Good way to use scraps.

They're all beautiful! When using newspaper, is there something to be done to it first so the print does't transfer to the material?

I heard once that butlers would iron the newspaper before giving it to thier employer so the ink wouldn't get on their hands.

Actually I think thats probably a very good idea Celeste :D . I didn't at the time and don't recall any problems, but it was a very long time ago, it would also pre-shrink the paper so there would be no probs that way as well
