I have a Sodoku booklet marked to the page of the one I plan to make - someday.

and NO - you can't (or shouldn't) use hand-quilting thread in the machine - but by now you already know that.

lol, I've been out of the quilting scene way too long!! I didn't realize the "sudoku" quilt was a pattern. I automatically thought it was like a baby peek-a-boo/interactive quilt. I started thinking about what a neat idea it would be to have an interactive wall hanging where different family memeber can help solve the sudoku puzzle using felt shapes/numbers.

I read of a quilter who was going to do that. I'm not sure how long the velcro would hold up.
