Beautiful runner!

I agree - stitch in the ditch.

That is very cute.

Definitely, stitch in the ditch. Very pretty.

This is really beautiful. Can I ask the name of the pattern?

Stitch in the ditch for sure!! As far as the border something simple but not straight lines!!! I like the idea of the darker red print for binding - also may consider the stripe! that way you dont take away from your middle!! Please post picture when done Great Job and thanks for the pattern name!! cheryl

Perfect. Great job.

Bonnie, your table runner is very cute. If you want to do a detailed quilting, try hearts or flowers in the hexagons to replicate the hearts and flowers in the border. Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.

HELP _ in-progress stitch in the ditch quilting
Here's the front which looks almost ok, but the back shows alot of pulling and waviness :-( So far I learned I should have gone the same same direction but I alternated each stitching line....oops I am using a sitd foot because I thought they were for quilting (versus a walking foot) I will be ripping out tonight and starting again so hurry and send any helpful tips for sitd please!!!! |
I've made a couple of these. I SID by stitching diagonally one direction and then turned and went the other. Ended up with each "cookie" stitched around that way. Looked good when finished.
