Often I see gorgeous quilts, and then wonder about comments made like "your last quilt used this _" or "I think I love it more than the other one you did with this pattern", etc. etc.

This always makes me want to see the other quilts. I know we can click on the quilters name to find a list of all comments and created topics.

But, some of you are so talented, you make dozens and dozens of quilts, and start hundreds of topics, and have many, many pics!

I also know I can bookmark messages, to watch as comments are made, etc. But, sometimes the beginning of a quilt, the questions how to, the ideas about sashing and borders, the fabric choices, etc, etc - can be in several different messages!

And, sometimes we are all so chatty, that the message or pic gets pushed to page 2 or 3, or 20 before even regular viewers can see them.

What if we had a category, or another sort option, that each person would start a "my finished quilts". It would not be a place for anyone to leave comments, it would just be a series of pics of completed quilts and maybe notes of pattern name, fabrics used, longarmer info.

That way if I see the quilter who made a great quilt, I can see all the other quilts she has done at a glance, instead of having to sort through all 500 created topics.

What do you think?

Some forums allow photo album pages for each member. Good idea.

I love this idea, and hope that it could be incorporated into the board. I sometimes go off looking for a link and then have a hard time getting back to the original post.
