Hi,
I would like info and suggestions on the purchase of a serger. I don't know what to look for, how well they last, etc.

Thanks. Bj

I am so glad you posted this! I was about to ask the same thing. My dd (age 19) wants us to purchase a serger, but I have NO idea what to even look for! Barb C.

You can check out sergers.com they have a few to look at and answer questions about the product as well.

I LOVE my serger. Do your homework and find the one that has what you want at the price you can afford. Mine is really OLD now and I have been looking for replacements....they are expensive....so make sure it has what you want. I like a rolled hem, that feature can make nice baby blankets, napkins, table cloths etc. One with a dual feed would be nice, that works similar to a walking foot on a regural maching, both fabrics feed together.

Have fun, and let us know which one you choose.
