I just did a Google search this week for "quilt pattern to show off fabric" and came up with lots of interesting results. I ended up purchasing a pattern called Apartment 9. I like it a lot. I'm going to use it to make a quilt with some Japanese fabric I got at a recent silent auction.

I'd do some careful measuring and make the flying geese using the Four Geese at a Time Method.

BTW, there's a tiny pfd icon at the top to download the pattern for free!

I've never seen a more thorough tutorial!!!!! :)

I love all things Tim Holtz. Used lots of his products and ideas when I was scrapbooking a lot. I met him and his partner at a scrapbook expo and they are just lovely people. Very willing to answer questions, listen to your ideas and let you in on short cuts!! I was so happy to find out he has a fabric line out!!!

Should we google scrapbooking, then?
