My bee is planning a Round Robin for the coming year. Each person will make their own center that should measure 20 inches. We will then exchange our quilt among the eight members. Each person will either add a border or possibly embellish an existing border. We can request a specific color scheme or we can furnish the fabric we would like used.

I have a double panel of the attached picture of pots. I would like to use a portion of it for the center. I'm looking for suggestions. This fabric has been around for a while so I'm sure somewhere on this board someone has used or has taken a picture of a quilt that used this fabric.

Thanks for your help.

I can see a 'landscape' panel of a marketplace with appliqued pots and maybe a person.

20" huh? can you cut a square of pots that could be on point for the center? that would look great.

What is the size of the large and medium pots and vase in the panel? If the right size, perhaps fussy cut and arrange/applique them as a still life for the center panel. Add a table, and perhaps some southwest fabric as a table cloth, perhaps a gourd or ear of corn.

That was certainly an important piece of information I neglected to mention! I'll add it to my original question.

The pots vary in size but most are around 10.5" by 8.25". Although I mentioned a 20 inch square, that also can vary as long as it's 2" increments.
