This is true of rayon but unless it'll be under heavy washing it normally isn't a problem. You also have to watch polyester because it'll melt if you have to iron it. I've also used some cotton (Aurifil) to embroider with, they have great varigated.

What kind of problems did you have? Was your fabric colorfast?

The fabric was colorfast. I just know the colors didn't hold true, but I haven't bought any for probably 10 years or more. I've stayed with polyester, and I've ironed them and never had them melt. I guess it all depends on what you are going to do with them.

I've seen the King Tut stitched out but not the Sulky. My machine doesn't like rayon thread so I gave all my away and now only purchase Isacord.
