In case anybody would like to see the quilt finished and bound, I have found enough light to photograph it. This is not always easy in an old house with little light.
I have posted pictures on the 'Pictures' section of Quiltingboard under 'Sunbonnet Sue Bound'.

Those are adorable. I just love Sunbonnet Sue in any version.

I'm not really a fan of Sunbonnet Sue(well, except for the quilt showing different methods of doing her in-sorry...) but this is adorable!

I must admit I wasn't keen on Sunbonnet Sue either. However I did a blog on her a few weeks ago with some quilts I made years ago, just to show what you can do with a few additions to a pattern. She was so popular that I decided to dig out a book I bought also years ago and make a different one. I must admit I really enjoyed it. in fact I am going to make another one with a different theme.
I think the problem with her normally is that she doesn't have much character but these change that. (As does the other quilt to which you referred.)
