Super slider substitute

I've started using Heavy Duty non-stick Reynolds Wrap with fmq. Works great!
Slick.

I will have to try that. Never thought of it.

What is used to make it slick? Since it is to keep food from sticking I thought it was some type of cooking spray product?

It's not greasy. I use it all the time when I bake. It does tear easy though. Does it hold up to the quilt being pushed around on it? I have the Supreme Slider and it's sturdy and works great.

I just use car polish to polish the bed of my quilt table.

That will be interesting to test it out. I have some but never have used it.

I was told never to use a polish on plastic or acrylic. It will deteriorate the plastic over time and will crack.

My machine is not plastic or acrylic and is in a wood cabinet also. I don't think polish would hurt it.

That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing it. I've poked so many holes in my supreme slider that I should get a new one but it is so pricey. Thanks again.
