Superior Thread Treasures help
 

I had a quilt 52 x72” that I wanted to hand quilt. I only had one spool of the Superior Thread Treasures thread #552 which looked best with my top. I went online, before I started quilting, to see if I could get more. It was back ordered on Superior Thread site and most others I found. I did find a site in Canada that had some and I ordered that, along with several others. I was billed by PayPal and the thread did not come. Today I call the site directly and they do not have it. Note their site still has it showing that they have it. Anyways, I am now about 2/3rd of the way done and I am running out of thread. I would really appreciate it if any of you hand quilters could check and if you have a spool or part of a spool, could I buy it from you. Thanks, Maureen

I wonder what is going on with Superior. They've been having supply issues for months. I can't imagine it is 100% due to the virus....

I just looked in my threads and I have a spool of this thread that you are welcome to. I won’t be doing any hand quilting in the near future, so I don’t need it.

Their thread is made in Japan, and it does seem to be a serious logistics problem. I am in dire need of some Sergin’ General serger thread in white, and it has been unavailable for months. At first I was thinking the mask makers had used all the white, but that can’t be true this late. I keep thinking I will call them, but I always forget during working hours.
