Superior threads/organ needles
I need to order some needles.
There are so many opinions on what's best and places to shop. Ideally I would like to order a lot of 100 on eBay to share with my mom and sister... Does organ sell the titanium topstitch needles under their own name brand, or only through superior? Is there a less $$ comparable alternative? I realize you get what you pay for and buying thebest and all that, but I am sewing on a budget so try to balance best value for $$ spent. I've been using Schmetz universal or microtex, but need a larger quantity than buying from jas one coupon at a time. Thanks! |
I've bought the Schmetz needles in quantities of 100 on eBay.

I just purchases 100 organ needles for less than $20. and they are working perfect in my Janome sewing machine. I am very satisfied with them .Ordered them off the internet from JHittle & Co.

I use Organ "Large Eye" needles and buy from Allstitch.net I haven't tried the titanium yet because of price but I LOVE the Large Eye Organ needles. I usually buy the 75/11 in both sharps and ballpoints and have very little problem.

you can order direct from Schmetz Needles, in bulk, I believe they ship out of Chicago, no shipping charge....have ordered from them several times.

The price of the needles you mention is high because they are titanium, not because they are Superior.
