I bought a couple of packs of these needles #80/12 when Bob first offered them.
http://www.superiorthreads.com Titanium coated Topstitch for home machines. I always put the date on a little stickum on my machine when I change needles Yesterday as I was sewing away I noted that the needle had been in since 10/09 I changed it just cause I thought I ought; it was still sewing well. |
that's what I call getting your money's worth! I don't believe in changing needles every 8 hrs or with each new project, I change when I have a problem with it or need a different size. mine usually last quite a while but I don't think I've ever gotten a whole year, you go girl

If Superior Threads carries it - it's a quality product! I use their threads in my customers' quilts and Superior needles in both my longarm and my sewing machine. I love the Masterpiece for piecing my tops.

WOW! I will have to check into these :D:D:D

I stocked up on these needles before the price goes up. They save more money then they cost. I haven't changed the first one and it's been about a year and it doesn't show any signs of dulling.
