Supreme Slider Information Please
 

I was wondering if anyone has used this product . It is a mat that you put on top of your sewing machine to help the fabric glide over the base of the machine. The concept sounds like it might work well. There are some good feedbacks on Amazon.com. Also it is a lot cheaper there than on the Supreme Slider site. Let me know what you all have found out.:D

I have had mine for a couple of years, but I am far from an expert. So with that caveat, I like mine very much. Thought I had lost mine recently and was getting ready to replace it, but happily found it.

Mine stays on my machine. I use it for piecing and quilting. I cut it to fit around the feed dogs. I rinse off the threads and lint with tap water and it sticks like new.

I really like mine also. I hadn't done any fmq for awhile and a couple of weeks ago I wanted to add some to an IPad cover I was making. I started out not using it and within a couple minutes I got up and got it out of the cupboard and put it on my machine. Smooth sailing after that!

sew slip is cheaper and larger. thats what I have. I paid 20 bucks for a large one

I recommend it! I only use it for machine quilting and I think it makes a big difference for me. Or, I did until I got the back fuzzy, it came unstuck, I didn't notice it was out of alignment around the feed dogs, and I ended up stitching it right into my quilt!

if you don't have a large flat surface to place it on, it can get caught by your quilt and that's not good. for now, I've given up on mine and removed it. I even removed my extension table. so there are pro's and con's to everything.

I love mine!

I used one for a while, and usually it would stay, but occasionally it would shift and I'd sew thru it. I also tried one of those flexible plastic cutting boards at the dollar store and cut a hole in that, stuck it on w/double stick tape, and that worked for a short while too. Once I sewed it to the back of a quilt, it came off and now I don't use anything. It took forever to rip that sucker off the quilt! I seem to be doing well without it, so I won't bother replacing it for now.
