Does anybody have any experience with SUPREME SLIDER? It is a teflon sheet that adheres to your sewing machine to reduce DRAG when machine quilting. Good ? or waste of $$ :-) Thanks!

I hope someone answers this question. I'm thinking it should help, but I'd like to find out from someone who has it before spending the money.

I bought one....mmmmhhhh...well, for me it is okay..kinda small for the bucks...and I've used it twice...there was no WOW factor there for me.

I have one and it stays on my machine for all my sewing. It makes a big difference to me in the ease of moving fabric. To revive the sticking power of the mat, rinse it in water and pat dry.

I bought one on sale and used it once. It did not do anything. Waste of money.

I have one. Love it. Will now FM without it. Here is a link that Patrice shared with me when I had posted a question for a good price for one.

Scroll down to about middle of page.

Very good price. Their customer service is great. I now check their price on everything before I buy. I usually buy from them. They have great prices.

Thanks sewsew (and everybody!) for the web site and the input. That IS a good price. When I last looked @ them, I think they were more than $25.00 or @30.00. Is 8 x 11/2 BIG enouf?

You can thank Patrice. Yes, I think 8x11 1/2 is big enough.

I too have been looking into the SS. Recently, a message w/ this co's website was in a group I'm part of, so I ordered it as this is at least $10 cheaper than I've found it anyplace else.

Although my account has been debited, I haven't gotten any confirmation of the order yet. It was not quite a week ago that I placed the order, so hopefully will hear from them soon.

Interesting that some folks love them, some folks say leave them.

I wonder, if you could find a teflon sheet in baking supplies, would they be bigger? Seems you could just put a hole in it for your needle. Maybe that would give you a bigger surface for your money?

Thanks peace! Good thot abt teflon baking sheet. How would you attach to machine? I think the web site said to allow for 10 days for delivery. You should have gotten notification of the transaction the minute your c/c was debited.

I read that the original Supreme Slider was supposed to be taped to the bed of the machine with invisible tape (which I assume is the regular stuff I use on gift packages). The website said that masking tape and other types of tape would not stick to teflon.

It was too slipery for me. I tried one at our LQS. We were learning FM. My input!
