I use pinterest to bookmark too. The downside for me is that if the original internet post is removed the picture or the instructions are no longer available. I do try to print the things I think I really will try. I can't afford the ink to print everything I Pin. I don't put anything on the internet including Facebook, Pinterest, QB, ete. that I would be afraid for the whole world to see because literally they may see it.

I love the photos, and love the inspiration. What I dislike about Pinterest is not being able to find the source of the pattern if I would like to download or buy it.
I think it's a compliment that someone loves your work and shares it! |
I would sure take it as a compliment if one of my quilts turned up on pinterest! Other people have viewed your quilt as worth remembering and special. YEA! for you. Enjoy your new found fame and recognition.

Oh last night I was googling for pattern ideas. There was my pineapple top with another name on. It us definately mine I recognise the background and my nails. Also I know where the original picture is.
Not bothered as I find it very flattering. I do know this top has caused the original location many questions as to location of pattern. I'm famous or is that infamous. |
I really need to get more involved! I'm not sure how to use any of these!

Thank you for your input. I will keep that in mind.

I'm having to block Pinterest from searches. I look for a pattern, a Pinterest site comes up and no information about where to buy the pattern. That annoys me no end. I only search when I want to BUY an article.
If you want to link to a pattern picture, then the maker of the pattern should demand that you also post where to buy it or find the info. If it's your own design, say so. |
