I am making my daughter a Sweet 16 quilt with signitures of friends and family anyone have any suggestions on size of block. Fairly easy style as I am not a very accurate sewer I am legally blind. I have had suggestions from friends of log cabin and square in a square so far. Thanks so much. Blessings Debbie

I believe there is a version of the nine patch that is used for friendship blocks also. The middle of the patch is all one color and people sign there. But Quilterscache is definitely the place to look for patterns. There is also MCcalls magazine's web site. They have oodles of patterns too. Good luck!

I think you should have her friends make the blocks by giving them the pattern and your daughter's choice of colors. That way they are not just signing it, they are making something for her, and you just sew them all together!

there are lots of suggestions if you google "autograph" or "friendship" blocks

The antique tile blocks that were done for Sharon were really quick and easy. Nice size areas for signatures too.
