I have one. Love it. Bought both extensions and it measures 72 X 30 with both 18" extensions. Also the height is adjustable. The extensions help so the quilt doesn't drag. They will fold down when not in use.
Also got the stitch regulator but hate it. I just don't use it. My fmq is getting better with practice. total abt 6000
I understand there is another sit down machine out there with a lesser price tag.
The sweet 16 is the sit down model and the Handiquilter16 is a long arm. Big difference in price.

Did you mean $3290 and accidentally added an extra zero? My Innova didn't even cost that. :)

I have one and LOVE it! I keep trying the new stitch regulator they have whenever I go to my dealer's store, but I don't really like it. If you're already used to fmq then it seems too choppy for me, and one more thing to think about. I did spend a couple of days working out the tension thing, but I just saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1mRhcquZTM and it resolved all my questions. I bought my dealer's demo and it was $32900 including some extra needles, bobbins, & 12 thread cones thrown in.

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago at my dealer's truck sale (the HQ truck was offloading machines into cars that day!). Price after tax was less than $5,000. I did not get the table extensions as I don't have room to use them at this point. I also did not get the tru-stitch as I think of that kind of like training wheels and the price is high for something I might or might not use for a long period of time.

So far I'm very happy with the machine, but I've mostly worked next to it as I'm finishing piecing a top so that I can quilt it.

Cheers, K

I have had mine for about a year and love it. I didn't get the table extensions and just put up card tables on each side for a large quilt and it works fine. I have thought about the new stitch regulator but want to try it out before spending $1000. Based on the comments here, it sounds like it might not be the fabulous addition we might hope for. I have done small quilts and even king size. With the huge harp, it really doesn't matter how big the quilt it. And I just can't stand up for long periods any more so sitting to do this is the right thing for me. I needed a little help setting up and getting tension right in the beginning, but it has hummed ever since.

I'm thinking she meant $3,290 because I saw it at the MN Quilt Show last summer and I think the price was around $5000 or $5500 with the stitch regulator.
