My son came to spend the night with us last night ( he is 33). Daddy is going to drive him to the airport.
Anyway, I came in the kitchen to make the coffee and the den is right off the kitchen. There he was, sleeping on the couch, wrapped up in a quilt (I have them everywhere lol), and Dude (dog) on a rug on the floor besides him. He loves my quilts. He can't sleep when he has to travel so he watches tv until he can catch a few winks. |
You need to take a picture so when you miss him just pull out the pic. Great memories.

Aw, that would have made any Mom happy!
How sweet.
Aw, isn't it nice to have your "baby" love your quilts.

How sweet - you need to take a picture of him - he would LOVE that! ha!

Rosy, funny you would mention something like this today. I am making quilts for my 6 adult kids for Christmas. I find myself wondering if they will truly appreciate the work, thought and time involved in creating these. Several have requested a quilt, I know one will cherish his, but as a whole do you think they acknowledge the meaning of "quilt giving"? Just pondering....
