T-shirt charges?

What do you charge to create a t-shirt quilt? Does that include the quilting on it?

I'm "fixing" or really re-making a t-shirt quilt. I don't have a long arm so I send it out for that. I honestly don't know what to charge.

I'm 8 1/2 hours into this already.

Thanks!
Ginger

I found a thread!! I'll look there.

I have only done one repair of an old quilt for sentimental reasons. I spent a long time and it was a pain. There was no way to charge what my work was worth. I asked for a donation to our church missionary fund instead. Good luck!

First of all I have no desire to make a t-shirt quilt. I would not repair any quilt. Lot less trouble for me.

I gift the quilts for friends and family. I have so many requests for t shirt quilts, which are a lot of work, that I needed to come up with a way to charge. I came up with $17.50 per t-shirt piece for a finished quilt. Whether the graphic is large or small, it still takes the same amount of preparation and work. The front counts as one piece; if pocket or sleeve has cute graphic, it counts as one piece; and the back graphic would count as another piece. So, for a 30 piece t-shirt finished quilt, I would ask $525.
