This is lovely! I was just trying to think of what to make my mother for Mother's Day. There it is. I am envisioning placemats as well by only adding 2 or 3 of the logs to both sides.

That is beautiful!!! Did you know that that pattern can be easily made from discarded fabric samples from decorators or furniture stores. A friend of mine gave me lots of discontinued samples.....they are small but plenty big enuf to make that pattern you have there for your table runner!!!!

I have made this one before. I love yours. I just love the pinwheel in the middle. How long did you make yours. I did not add to mine and thought it was too small. I am going to make another one for Easter so just wondered how many extra rows that you added. Please PM me with the details.

Hi Ceil, I didn't worry too much about the fat 1/4's from the instruction as the runner was made from my stash at home and i had enough for the binding. Does that make sense? :)
