I would like to make my stepmother a table runner for Christmas.
I want any easy pattern. I am relatively new to quilting. I have done a few things (not as good as I wanted them to turn out) Any suggestions?? |
There are a lot of easy pattern out there, but you could just take an easy block that you have made before and put several together to make a runner. If you put Tablerunner in the search feature you will also find a lot of different runners people have made.

"Tube quilting" is your answer, go to Search and type in tube quilting and there will be a tutorial available. I put some of these together in just a couple of afternoons and were great Christmas presents last year, plus they are a lot of fun to make.

Go to Quiltbug.com. Look for this pattern: Free Table Topper Quilt Pattern
I believe it takes 3 fat quarters plus backing and binding. |
I did a braid that actually very easy. Check them out.

I have a list of table runner free patterns that I have found on the web.
http://yarn-or-fabric.weebly.com/pla...ial-links.html Most of them are pretty easy - but you'll want to pick one that makes you want to make it. I'm sure you will find something. |
