Table toppers

I would like to make my DD and DS table toppers for each month of the year. If you have any suggestions they will be greatly appreciated.

If you do them reversible, you would only need to do 6 for 12 months of the year. I would go through the calendar and do one for every special holiday in the months. Do a mix of techniques to keep it fun.

Would you do January andd February together or January and July.? Love to see this project as it continues.

I think I would do the following together if I were going to do it - winter and valentines, St. Patrick's day and Easter, spring and summer, patriotic and anytime, back to school and Halloween, fall and Christmas. Those just seem to pair up nicely.

I made some for my DD years ago. I don't remember them all, but for July, I made one to look like the flag. I also made matching coasters, using cookie cutters. I think I mostly used the seasonal fabric, and added appliques to the ends that matched the coasters (shamrocks for March, hearts for February, pumpkins for Oct., etc. Hope this helps.

I agree TOO Great paring of the holidays. Also remember that they have to be able to store them when the table toppers are not being used.
