Sorry but this is not a free pattern. Looked and looked it's on Quiltwoman.com however, you can purchase it as an e-download, which I did!
Happy Thanksgiving to all - after dinner tomorrow I'll be sewing with dear daughter! and crocheting snowflakes!

What a good idea. Quick and colorful.

Now I feel bad that I spent $10 for the pattern!

Here is her blog on the front placemats:http://www.linda-hubbard.blogspot.ca...-much-fun.html

Here is where she directs you to:http://www.quiltwoman.com/patterns/t...attern-cf-224/

If you are good enough you can figure it out from the pattern to not have to buy the instructions (which is what I am going to try !LOL).

Continue scrolling and see that they are made with 4 FQS, stacked, cut and sewed back together. No measurements given but should be easy to figure out.

Found something in:
http://linda-hubbard.blogspot.ca/
under "Sew much fun". Doesn't give much, but experienced quilters could probably figure it out.

http://www.quiltwoman.com/patterns/t...attern-cf-224/
gives more cute pictures with different fabrics.

Absolutely love this way of "birthing" the placements. Good technique to remember!

A great method, especially for round or oval table mats. I dislike having to close an opening by hand sewing so I came up with this idea and have been using it for many years for placemats, table toppers, Christmas tree skirts,
ornaments, potholders and coasters. I have a similiar method I use if I want to make any of these reversible.

Looks like a variation of D4P.
