I have been trying to decide what to do with all the unquilted tops I have on hand. Finally, a couple of weekends ago when all the family was here I told them, if you want one put your name on it or it is going to charity or on e-bay. Well, there are none left to go to charity or to e-bay, but I told them I may be on my deathbed before these all get quilted because I just can't stop making these quilt tops. In the last two weeks I have made 4 tops, quilted only two of them. Oh well, all quilters do this don't they?

Each stack is going to a different family

Just amazing! It takes me weeks to piece a top! Well at least you know that your quilts are wanted!

Perhaps each "taker" could pay for his/her own quilt to be sent out and quilted?

You are not the only one who does this.... my sister-in-law has close to 100 tops.. She said that is the only part she likes doing, so that is all she does. Someday, someone is going to have a slew of quilt tops that they have inherited - just hope they take the time to finsih them...

I think I'm a long lost cousin, could I put my name on a quilt? LOL

whoa- you have been very busy!! Did you even sleep in the last 2 weeks!! LOL!!! :)

Heh, I'm exactly the opposite--hand-quilting is my favorite part, and making the top is a distant second. I don't know why I don't just go whole-hog and do a densely hand-quilted wholecloth quilt!

Your quilts look great. I hope you get the impulse to finish them!

In response to Paper Princess. When I say "quilt" it may be a bed size quilt all the way down to a table topper. This past two weeks I made 2 stained glass quilts approx 36" x 45" (quilted both of those) and two wall hangings (not quilted yet). My favorite size to make is about 6' x 7'. A generous size throw size.

Still alot more than I could accomplish in two weeks lol

There are several people on the board that do quilting - maybe they would do it for you in exchange for a completed pieced quilt top - worth a shot I think - It sure cant hurt lol Maybe they like to quilt and you like to piece - could be a new relationship lol cheryl
