Tea Cup Place Mat
I saw a placemat in a craft store, which I. Did buy. I like it so much but I can't figure it out. It has a little pocket in the front for a tea bag and it looks like it's sitting on a saucer. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I would even pay for the pattern I like it so much.

Hey Maureen!
A picture might help figuring that one out! :) |
I found this pattern a few months ago on McCall's magazine website. Maybe this will work better for you.

If you try to do a search for the pattern, you might try "mug rug" instead of placemat which is what most of us call them. |
It looks easy to duplicate. Just fold a piece of fabric in half, the fold part would be the top of the cup. Then cut out a cup to applique down, being careful not cut or stitch the folded edge. I probably would fuse the fabric together first to give it more firmness.
