I'd like to make my Mother a wallhanging of teacups/teapots. Any ideas? Has anyone seen a pattern for something like this? I thought I'd seen something somewhere but...at that time I wasn't looking for one. Thanks

Good morning, just type "tea" into the search on the forum here and you'll find a few pictures of other members quilts that may help.
oops....looks like we were all typing at the same time ;) |

Eleanor Burns had a cute teacup pattern, don't remember which book it was in. Possible Quilting for the Seasons???

There are some wonderful free paper pieced teacup and teapot patterns on the web, also some I've purchased. Or buy some pretty teacup/teapot fabrics?

I rec'd a panel today called Earl Grey spice Green Tea Pot Party Cup Quilt Block. It was $5.99. Wish I could post pics....I just love it. One of the designs would be perfect to make into a wall hang'g. I just checked. There are 2 listings for this on eBay right now with pictures.

There are some free applique patterns for both teapots and teacups here: http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/Miscellany%20Designs.html
I made a quilt with the teacups and it turned out really cute. And they are pretty simple designs. |
@Joyce thanks for the input. I don't do much on ebay. What do you type in to find it?
