? tear away stabilizer
I'm taking a class in another state in two weeks and the instructor's supply list said to bring your favorite tear away stabilizer. I have never use tear away and would appreciate any feedback on the subject because I don't know one from another. Thanks

I use Stitch 'n Tear. I get it at Joanns in the interfacing area

It would be better for the teacher to have given an example of a tear-away, rather than assume that everyone has a favorite. Since she didn't say, it would probably be okay to take any brand with you.

a lot depends on your project do you want an iron on? it really depends on what you are making if say it is going to be in a hoop i buy the regular it does not need to be ironed on the hoop will hold it if not i say get the medium weight iron on it will be easier to work with.

I really like stitch and tear too!

Ok thanks for the info. Will be headed to Joanns for stitch and tear.

Go to emblibrary.com and they have a section that explains about the different stablizers and Viking also has it. There is different ones like for med or heavy duty of it all including water soluable. I hate when they assume you have a favorite. FYI. My granddaughter and great granddaughter live in Fairmont

You need more information. Light weight?

stitch and tear is great, but i like the solvy, you press it on, and it washes out!
