:-( I'm not sure if it was me...I was routed to this area ..saying there were instructions for a tee shirt quilt here. I couldn't find anything at all - perhaps it's part of a multi-part tutorial & not listed as such.
I have saved all my husband's military t-shirts thinking I would do a t-shirt quilt for him someday. I have no idea where to start - just the premise. I'm a beginner - having worked on a hand applique (grandmothers flower garden) for years. I've made flowers - depending on how my arthritis & other medical factors have allowed me to. So... I literally need everything - from soup to nuts - as they say.Include stiffener info. please. Thanks, SS |

Thanks for all the sites. My friend's husband was buried today. Her anniversary is tomorrow and her birthday is April 13th so I asked her son to get me 2 t-shirts and I will make them into pillows so she can have them quickly.

The videos listed are good one to get the basics. For stabilizer, I like to use Pellon 906F on the back sides of the shirts. Makes it easier to work with the shirts and easier to quilt on a longarm. Have quilted ones with and without the stabilizer, and with is definitely easier.
