Has anyone tried the teflon bobbin washers that are suppose to eliminate backlash and bird's nests on the back of your quilt? The washers sit inside your bobbin case and help your bobbin thread glide smoothly and evenly while you quilt.

I use them all the time in every machine even my Featherweight. Remove the spring thing inside the bobbin house, it goes right back in if you ever want it back in. It prevents back lash and static.

I use them in my sewing machine and Long-Arm quilting machine.

I use them in my machine with a front loading bobbin and it is great. They last forever. I have been using the same one for almost a year and it doesn't show any signs of wear.

I haven't tried it with the drop-in bobbins, but maybe I will.

I had a problem with my bobbin rattling around in the case. The 15 class bobbins don't fit my machine (even though they're supposed to). I had a heck of a time keeping the thread from jumping out of the slot and going kerflewy. I put a piece of that purple stuff that marks the seam line. It's pretty thick so I just stuck it on the bottom of the bobbin and dropped it in. It makes the space smaller top to bottom. Works like a charm.
