Tell me to change my rotary blade!!!

Why is it so hard for me to change the rotary blade? I keep telling myself....just a bit more cutting. I have been cutting each piece twice, and still I haven't changed the blade. I have more blades. I guess I am just too cheap, frugal, whatever you call it. I know that some blades just last longer, but the last two I have used have lasted "shorter"!! But I also know it is time to change that blade.

I am shutting down for the night, but surely I will change that blade tomorrow. And surely I am the only one who keeps using a blade even though it has a nick or two... No one else could be that stubborn, right??

It's time to change the blade. I've done the same thing.

We're more likely to hurt ourselves with a dull blade than with a sharp one, and more likely to make cutting mistakes, but that doesn't matter. We just have to show that blade who's boss.

I really think most of us have all been guilty of that at one time or another. LOL

I was using the same old blade until my daughter expressed a wish to cuts some squares for her Falling Charms top. I put a brand new blade in for her so it would be nice to cut with. I thought afterwards, I' ll replace it for someone else but not myself?" It was my wake up call.

Well, you could turn it around to get a little more use out of it! But honestly, since you can get them fairly cheaply at harbor freight, change it!!!!!

At the PRICE CHARGED for those little disc's I push mine to the limit too. THEN mark them for paper cutting projects..

CHANGE YOUR BLADE. There I told you. I do the same thing. When I do finally put in a new blade I wonder why I waited so long. Same thing with the sewing machine needle. I hate to bother to change that also.

I've thought about investing in one of the blade sharpeners but then figure it is cheaper to buy new blades when they are on sale for 1/2 price!

same thing here, and i thought i was the only one. i find the blades expensive, here in ontario canada they cost about 8 dollars each. i struggle to the end with cutting 3 times each time, then am amazed at the ease when i finally use a new blade. sometimes i nick the ruler or hit a pin the first use and am so mad at that.
