are any of you going to the smoky mountain quilt fest in pigeon forge, tn? it starts on 3/8 and i can't wait. i'd love to meat some of you if you are going to be there. they always have great vendors and the bed turning is really special. most of the quilts are from the mountain people that were displaced years ago when the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest was created. i'll try to send photos of some of their quilts--it's amazing to see what people could make out of nothing--like dolly's old song a coat of many colors

Wow, I WISH I could go to that. We stopped in Pigeon Forge on our honeymoon and had a lot of fun.

That sounds like a wonderful time. I wish I lived closer and had someone to travel with. Have fun.

Need more information. I was not aware of the Quilt Fest, I always like an excuse for a trip to the smokies.

Where is it being held in Pigeon Forge? do you have a link to the site? Not sure if I can get off but I really would like more information.

the web site is mountainquiltfest.com---if you stay at the Music Road hotel you can get really good rates too as long as you tell them you're part of the quilt fest. hope to see some of you there

I want to!! It's even on my weekend off....if I could find someone to go with. Heck, I would even drive & pick up a "roomie".
