I received an opportunity this am to contact someone in a different state to offer my services and finish a quilt for her daughter's wedding. I panicked because I didn't have any idea what to charge. So I ran to the computer and the wonderful participants on live chat helped me brainstorm and come up with a bottom line price. Thank you, thank you. I took the job and will be able to finish her quilt in time for the wedding. She had appliquéd 42 sunbonnet sue & boy blocks and was attempting to use the lap quilt method and hand quilt a king size quilt before May.

I have always had quick answers and good answers every time I post a question. I would not have continued quilting without the help from this group. I remember I even panicked the first time I changed the blade in my rotary cutter....my question being...."Do I wipe the greasy stuff off?" I had immediate answers and didn't have to interrupt my cutting at all. Three years 2 1/2 years of quilting so far. :)
