I received my template and am looking forward to trying your cut down method of piecing. You said you had a tutorial in the Quilting Newsletter. Do you know how to access the archives of the letter?
Thank you for your wonderful gift.

Hope you enjoy the template and the tutorials you can also go on my free site by clicking on- the cut down method- in my signature here below. There are more 'blocks' and projects and quilt blocks using the Boston Block of the bookmarks and a lot more info.

Would love to see pictures!!! Thanks! :D :D

I got mine, too! Have tried making a few blocks. The blocks go together great, but actually putting them together has been, shall we say, problematic. I'll get it with practice, though!

Try laying one face down onto the other one and tacking a stitch to hold it in place where your seam will go through. I do this on each end and when I put two sets of joined blocks together I tack where the seams meet to keep them from moving.

Here is a picture of two blocks tacked together. Then just sew a seam.
I also added a picture of two sets of joined blocks.

Should help get those blocks under control!!!

Two blocks tacked together Ignore the middle tack this is a star point block instead of a Boston Block but you get the idea.

This is two sets of joined blocks tacked together for a set of 4 blocks
