I received my templates from Rhonda the other day. I had forgotten I had even ordered them. When I opened the envelope, I was amazed at how thick and sturdy they were. Very good quality. I had forgotten what blocks I could make with them so I messaged her and she responded right away with a link to her site for making different blocks. Thank you for the quick response. I did go to your site, but the blocks still look a little intimating to me. Hopefully, I will get the courage to try to make one. I love your blocks and the movement they have. Thank you again Rhonda.

Rhonda's templets are great. Go to her tutorials on HST's and Boston blocks and you will see how easy they are to make and then you will be good to go on making her blocks.

It isn't hard at all. Just 4 steps to a Boston Block 1 cut a piece of fabric that is light and one that is medium. 2 Sew them together. Trim a straight edge on the bottom 3 Sew on a dark fabric to the bottom straight line. 4 Lay it on a cutting mat and lay your template on the center. Make sure your template corners are on the seams and cut out around the template with your rotary cutter. You're done! Now you will have a Boston Block. My designs look complicated but the steps are super easy!! Just take each step one at a time and it is easier than it looks. Little to no math! I love to say Intricate looks with easy steps!!! That is the fun of the Cut Down method. The tiny piecing happens in the block before you cut it out. You don't have to handle the small stuff. It just happens when you cut!! |

I love Rhonda and Rhonda's blocks. Any help you need, she'll be more than willing to help you. I have a sampler that I am about ready to start quilting. All Rhonda's blocks. Once you do one, you will be addicted...... so make sure you post anything you make. We love to see them.
