Thanks all who responded to my first rag quilt ever. I truly appreciate the encouragement. I do not have friends that share my interests, so "stumbling" across this board about 2 months ago has been great. I have 5 more quilts to make. (Two more before Christmas!) I will try and share those as well.

I've been sewing basically all my life. All the things I have learned here are mind boggling!!!! Now I don't know what I would do without it.

Good to hear that you were encouraged here and that you plan on making more quilts.
I hope that you can find some quilting friend(s) in the future to help you in person...maybe through a class at a quilt shop or if you would decide to join a quilt group.
