I made a whole quilt with nothing but scrappy arrowhead blocks. No sashing. I love it!

I agree with the peach doesn't have enough contrast. The batik reads pink and the peach reads orange.

Have you seen this link? Notice that the designer used nothing but the squares in all of her pictures. Ths is how I did mine.

Beautiful blocks!!
I think why everyone likes the darker green is ..(so much from someone who has challenges with color) That color is in the leaves of the floral /the lighter color in the peach one is closer to the pink in the floral. the light green in the green block and the peach colors fight with the floral..the pink and green in the first block look good with the floral and complement it. The white dominates so I would try the dark pink and a light pink (light color in the peach block) and a green with a lighter green in the same color family as the floral has.. I Love your blocks..I would probably end up with 4 quilts;)

It's been my experience when something (anything) is presenting so many roadblocks... maybe it wasn't meant to be. Have you considered just putting this project aside for a while?

With that being said, I tend to look for the least dominate color to bring out. I see lavender/purple in your print. Have you thought about using that? **Here I am messin' with your color choices... lot of help (NOT). ;)

Maybe if you went for a different kind of contrast and, for instance, put the pink with the darker green and the lighter green with the peach? Something about these blocks, maybe the lighter green, still jars with the floral, imho. But you make beautiful blocks!

What strikes me is that I like the arrowhead blocks and I like the floral, but to me it seems they don't complement one another. I would like to see a softer block, maybe a basket of some sort with the floral fabric, or another, more graphic design to go with the arrowheads.

I like the green, but would reverse the colors, putting the darker color on the outside. Not loving the peach at all. What does the batik look like with the darker pink you originally had. I might just go with the greens and the floral.

This version flows much better with the floral background sashing colors. very good job. It will be gorgeous.

I think these are both great ideas. Set it on the "back burner" and let it simmer a while. You might look at it with fresh eyes in a week or a month and suddenly see the perfect solution. And as I've studied both photos, I keep thinking I'd like to see a spot of that purplish color we're seeing in the flower centers.
