Thanks to all who posted suggestions and advice regarding the alphabet panel. I have finally finished it, pictures of the birthday boy and his family, cross-hatched quilting, blue fleece backing and blue sateen border. It will not stand close examination from a real quilter - but I did it! Thank you!
