One of the things I've enjoyed the most about this board is the huge number of members with their extremely varied tastes and skill levels. I've been amazed by projects that I can't imagine trying for myself, and I've broadened the way I think about fabrics and patterns because of what the amazing quilters have shown here. Surely we can share our "dislikes" in a polite, nonjudgemental way. After all, think how boring this board would be if we all liked the same patterns and fabrics! |
Bargellos and OBWs just turn my stomach. They are so busy that I can't imagine how anyone can stand to work on them. Pressing the seams must be torture. Curves and lots of points kinda do a number on my nerves.
I have the greatest admiration for those who can work on them. |

Same thing with log cabin quilts. Can't stand them. Anyone else? Funny, I just bought some 4th of July flag panels that came with a free pattern from my LQS, and it is all log cabin around the flag. |
