Is there a Chart available for mattress or quilt sizes??

Good Afternoon Every1,

I hope that all is well with you and your families. I know the subject has been discussed be4, but for the life of me, I CAN NOT find the thread. I have done searches, backwords, forwards, and upside down.

I am looking for a list of mattress sizes or quilt sizes. I know someone had posted a thread about it, but I can't find it. I thought I had a list of it from hancock fabrics, but I must have thrown it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please and Thank you in advance.

Have a blessed day.

Quilt sizes vary - always measure the mattress, its depth, and decide whether you want a pillow tuck, etc.

Don't forget to take into consideration the thickness of the mattress - my mattress in 18" thick, so those sizes wouldn't necessarily be correct. Also, you have to allowance for shrinkage on the quilt from the quilting process and then washing it. My friend used bamboo batting and when she washed the quilt - the quilt size shrank 6 inches!!! YIKES!!!!

You can download the charts from online ... or you can buy a reference book.

I love my reference book. Of course I also love reading paper books more than computer/MP3/ CD player/ or Nook books.

My fave reference book: The Quilter's Pocket Reference by Peggy Scholley. You can get it on amazon or ebay or other online outlets as well as many LQS's. It has it all down to HST charts. I love it.

I recommend the reference guide. It has a lot of different information on blocks and yardage as well as other helpful information.
