When you purchase a pattern, do you wish for the designer to provide a quilting motif to finish the project?

Even if I don't use it I think it would be helpful.

My quilting magazines give quilting motifs but none of my purchased patterns give any directions. I may not use their idea but at least it gives me something to think about. Especially if it is a new quilting motif.

I LOVE it when pattern designers suggest quilting designs and layouts! Especially continuous line designs. :)

I like to decide on my own.

Being a new quilter, I would.

Yeah, that "Quilt as desired" is a bit lame, and the common default.

I would love that. Or at least give a couple of suggestions.

Would be nice for an idea!
