When you purchase a pattern, do you wish for the designer to provide a quilting motif to finish the project?

My quilting magazines give quilting motifs but none of my purchased patterns give any directions. I may not use their idea but at least it gives me something to think about. Especially if it is a new quilting motif.

I LOVE it when pattern designers suggest quilting designs and layouts! Especially continuous line designs. :)

Yeah, that "Quilt as desired" is a bit lame, and the common default.
